After being attacked, Avery decided to visit Joe by herself with a gun to be free from him.  When she was pointing the gun at him, Dylan and Paul ran into the room and said that the culprit was not Joe.

Well, yeah, he is in custody right now but there're still a lot of police work to do but it looks like everything is lining up. I mean the guy has the same height, he's got the same MO, he was wearing the same ski mask he was wearing when he attacked Avery in the alley. Not to mention the fact that he was in possession of her cell phone and her purse. So yeah, I think we got him.
